We are excited to share news about another of our Spar College Scholarship Recipients! 🧡 Shae, a rising senior @ualbany recently provided the following update: “I had a great Spring semester! I worked very hard . . . as my classes have become more intense, but I am pleased to say I was able to receive a 4.0 again. I am involved in the UAlbany club volleyball team and have been working hard with the Albany Business Leaders Emerging (ABLE) club to have a great semester in the Fall when I start my presidency. I can’t believe I’m going to be a senior already! Thank you so much for supporting me thus far. Without Mr. Spar and everyone at one2one, I wouldn’t have had this wonderful opportunity. I am so grateful!”💙 Congratulations Shae on your academic achievement! So excited for the start of your leadership role as President of ABLE! Good luck with senior year! 🤩#one2oneUSA #ScholarshipSpotlight ... See MoreSee Less

The philosophy of one2one was founded on the idea of connecting Donors with the people they help. Nowhere is this more evident than the case of Siga and her amazing donors, Jillian and Michael. The bond between them has only strengthened as Siga has excelled academically, graduating with a neuroscience degree at @tulaneu and continuing on there to get her Masters in Public Health. She’s currently studying for her MCAT and prepping for medical school applications. Thanks Jillian and Michael for making this possible, thanks to @tulaneu for enabling Siga’s academic success, and thank you Siga for your dedication and hard work. I recall receiving Siga’s application in 2019 where she described her difficult upbringing in the Bronx as the child of a Malawian single mother, and that she chose neuroscience to assist a sibling with a brain disorder. Her singular devotion to her path is something everyone should strive for. 💚 ... See MoreSee Less

#ScholarshipSpotlight 🤩 We love getting updates from our Scholarship Recipients! 💙 Riya recently graduated from Stevens Institute of Technology and sent us the following note: “I am officially done with my undergraduate degree and am moving on to my graduate studies. Thank you so much for your support the last four years as none of this would have been possible without your kindness. With that said, I have one more year of schooling left before I enter, as they call it, the real world. Please cheer me on as I make this big transition in my life.” 🧡 Congratulations Riya! Good luck with your graduate studies! We are super proud. 😁#one2one #scholarship ... See MoreSee Less
