2021 Spring Newsletter: Here comes the sun
Over a year into the pandemic, American life continues to be upended, but with the help of the vaccine rollout we are hopeful that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. We remain heartened by the fact that people like you continue to rise to the occasion. At one2one USA, Donors have been focused on specific communities and causes, mobilizing to help individuals in need. We have disbursed over $1.2 million in the past year to those in need, and are currently focused on helping those who have lost a loved one to gun violence, are suffering with ALS, cannot afford their own college prep costs, are struggling with being a single mother, and are in need of clean drinking water, just to name a few.

2019 Fall Newsletter
Would it surprise you to know that twenty-one million U.S. residents do not have reliable access to safe water, including mining-ravaged Appalachia and places like Flint, Michigan? We are excited to announce our partnership with Zero Mass Water, a tech startup that creates Hydropanels that produce water using just sunlight and air. A few weeks ago, one2one Donors stepped in to fund the installation of 24 Hydropanels at a local food bank in Kimball, WV, helping to secure a source for clean, safe water for the approximately 150 families served by the food bank who are desperate for it. These panels can produce the equivalent of up to 7,200 standard 16.9oz bottles of water every month, and over its 15-year life will offset over 1.3 million single-use plastic water bottles that would have cost over $160,000 and had a negative effect on the environment.

2018 Fall Newsletter
Donors often come to one2one with the hope of donating to a cause inspired by their own personal experience. Recently, we worked with donors - a husband and wife - who came to us with a specific cause in mind. The husband’s sister had suffered from Diabetes and, as a result, lost two of her limbs. Together, with one2one USA, the donors were able to create a customized Charitable Program that allowed them to help someone that faced the challenges of needing better quality prosthetics.
