A Donor interested in supporting performing arts asked us to identify talented, underprivileged kids who wanted to pursue their passion for the arts. In our search for potential donees, we found Broadway Youth Ensemble/Broadway in the Mountains, a 501(c)(3) organization that works individually with students to train, improve, and maintain their performing arts skills. With BYE/BITM’s help we were introduced to an incredibly talented 14-year-old singer, actress, dancer, and musician. Her family was unable to continue financially supporting her education in the arts due to personal setbacks. Our Donor funded a week-long, residential, intensive training program, and in the donee’s words, she said:
“your generosity and belief in me inspire me to work even harder towards my goals and dreams.”
This gifted young lady believes that art has the power to bring happiness to people across the globe and help individuals better empathize with and understand one another.
